A fire engine approaching, then slowly passing, then disappearing into the distance. This was in gallery place in washington, dc, during rush hour, so traffic was slow; thus, a longer than usual siren.
One steam train engine cycle extracted and cleaned up. A single steam train chuff without the background steam hiss. Credit to keith peter for the original field recording: https://freesound. Org/people/keithpeter/sounds/125211/.
Zoom h1 recording, just did press record. Maybe 20 or 30 or more fire engines recorded at distancevery very long recording, but if you need lots of sirens they are plenty.
